The Royston Town Band concert was given on pleasant, sunny summer's evening without a cloud in the sky after a varied week of weather. A good number of people turned up with chairs, tables and picnics and had a thoroughly enjoyable evening.

The Royston Town Band gave a highly polished performance and played a wide range of music from traditional brass band pieces to music from the cinema. There were also three solos on the Flugel Horn, Tenor Horn and Trombone, the last of these, by Katie a young Trombonist, was an excellent performance of a Concert Study by late Don Lusher the well known British trombonist.
