This year we had 8 gardens, in Chiswick End, High Street and in North End. Despite a cold wind and patchy rain compared with last year's sun and warmth, the event was equally profitable. Once again our grateful thanks go to the garden owners for their sterling efforts, our supporters who were not put off by the weather and also those who provided cakes and served teas; sales were up 50% compared to last year which may have been due to the weather. Also some classic cars in two gardens created an additional interest as a precursor to the Car Show on 9th September. Finally the raffle for the free Garden Design Consultation by the Garden Design Centre at Scotsdales was well supported and won by Peter Oakman.
