7. 1. Fabric Repairs, VAT Refunds and Grants
      • A summary of work in progress and proposed repairs will be given with photographs of the respective areas.
      • An outline will be given of the changes to the VAT refund process via the Listed Places of Worship Grant Scheme and local grant opportunities towards repair costs.
   2. Authority to make disbursements
      • A financial statement will be presented to show the funds approved by the 2010 and 2011 AGMs
      • Resolution 1: The AGM approves expenditure of up to £9,600 including VAT, to replace the existing 70° ladder, which has a high Risk Assessment, with two sections of stairs connected by a short ladder arrangement
      • Resolution 2: The AGM approves expenditure of up to £5,500 excluding VAT to re-render the lower walls of the Ringing Chamber, re-point the lower outside walls and replacement of the raised floor including improved ventilation.
      • As in previous years approval of the resolutions will allow the PCC to carry out the defined repairs provided at all times The Friends maintain a minimum balance of funds of £5,000.
